Bec Henry

Bec has been riding and training horses for over 30 years, and has been coaching for 20, including 2 years coaching RDA programs at the McIntyre Centre in 2007/2008, and again in 2023. Bec’s coaching style centres on building rider confidence and establishing trusting connections between horse and rider, always with rider safety and horse welfare a top priority.

Bec has a Diploma of Applied Science (Equine Studies) and is a nationally accredited PCA NCAS Preliminary Coach. She regularly instructs at Yarawa Pony Club and is a regular guest coach for City of Ipswich Pony Club.

Trish Richardson

With a Diploma of Counselling and certification as an Equine Assisted Mental Health Practitioner, Trish combines her lifetime of horse experience with a dedicated focus on trauma-informed therapy. Her professional journey has equipped her with a deep understanding of the horse-human connection, which she now channels into helping clients through a trauma-informed strengths-based, person-centred approach.

Trish is deeply passionate about offering Equine Assisted Counselling as a unique and powerful therapeutic option. At Racing Hearts,  she provides this nature-based alternative for those seeking healing outside traditional talk therapy. Her sessions are infused with an attitude of unconditional positive regard for both humans and horses, ensuring a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their mental health in a meaningful and transformative way. Every session is a blend of mindful horsemanship and compassionate support.
